How we handle personal data.

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:

Sebastian Dicks
Zur Geizefurt 4
47652 Weeze
Germany

Phone: +49 162 1005489
Email: sebastian@energieDIsign.de

2. Data collected when you visit

If you use the website for information only and do not send us additional details, the server processes technical access data transmitted by your browser. This may include the page visited, date and time of access, data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system, and your IP address.

Processing supports the technical delivery, security and stability of the website and is based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Server log files may be reviewed if there are specific indications of unlawful use.

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect data transmission.

3. Hosting and content delivery

We use a platform provider to host the website and deliver its content. According to the privacy information supplied for this site, the provider and selected sub-processors use servers within the European Union. Data collected there is processed for hosting unless a different recipient is described in these notices.

That information also states that a data processing agreement is in place with the provider to protect visitors' data.

4. Cookies and browser settings

The website may use cookies, small text files stored on your device. Session cookies are deleted when you end your visit; other cookies may remain for longer. Where cookies process personal data, the legal basis depends on their purpose and may be contract performance, consent or legitimate interests under Art. 6(1) GDPR.

You can configure your browser to notify you about cookies or restrict their storage. Restricting cookies may affect some website functions.

5. Contact via WhatsApp Business

If you contact us through WhatsApp Business, we use the mobile number associated with your account and, if provided, your name to handle and answer your enquiry. For general enquiries, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding promptly under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; contract-related enquiries may also rely on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. Use of WhatsApp Business may involve transfers to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States. The supplied privacy notice refers to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for such transfers. See WhatsApp's privacy information.

6. Contact by email or form

If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we process the information you provide to answer your enquiry and handle the related technical administration. The fields requested are shown on the relevant form.

Processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your enquiry relates to entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR may also apply. We delete the information after the enquiry has been resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Web fonts

We use Google Fonts to display the website's typeface. When fonts load, your browser connects to Google's servers. This may transmit your IP address and technical browser data to Google. See Google's privacy policy.

8. Platform services and abuse prevention

The website loads a technical traffic-measurement script supplied by the website platform. Usage and browser information may be processed. The hosting and platform-provider information in section 3 also applies.

Google reCAPTCHA may be used to protect forms from automated abuse. When active, technical device and usage information may be sent to Google. See Google's privacy policy.

9. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or restriction of its processing. Where the legal requirements are met, you may object to processing, withdraw consent or request data portability.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact the controller listed above.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data.

11. Keeping this notice up to date

This notice reflects the processing described in the supplied source and the functions currently visible on this website. If website features or services change, the notice should be reviewed and updated.
